I love Anna Paquin because not only does she have an enviable, fitspiration body but also because she is up front about the amount of effort it takes to look that way unlike so many other celebrities.
“I’m really careful about what I eat, and I work out a lot. It’s not like this is an accident. I’m sure, no matter what your genetics, everyone can be out of shape. And I don’t want to be one of those actresses who says, “yeah, I eat cheese burgers all the time.” Because I don’t. I live my life, but I’m really careful about taking care of myself. If I don’t take care of myself, in the sense of not also nourishing myself, I don’t do the kind of work that I’m proud of.
It’s the “Well-what-would-you-eat-if-you-were-being-photographed-in-a-bikini-tomorrow?” diet. I mean, it’s not anything wildly specific. I eat a lot of vegetables. I eat a lot fruit. I don’t eat fast food ever. I don’t eat a lot of dessert. I don’t eat a lot of crap. As I get older, I’m getting better about taking care of myself without depriving myself.”
